On the road to Canada

We spent Thursday, Friday, and Saturday cleaning the motorhome, re-arranging the food storage, shopping for food, and doing laundry.  I also corrected several small issues on the motorhome to rigging since we will be in increasing darkness on our way toward the outside (Alaska slang for lower 48).   We notice the aspen trees starting to change color and know that winter will return to Alaska and Canada soon.

On Sunday we fueled up and started moving down the Glenn Highway toward Tok Alaska.  Stayed overnight at the Matanuska Glacier Recreation site where we done some berry picking and took in a 2 mile hike.

Monday was another day towards Tok where we stayed overnight at a scenic turnout about 60 miles from Tok and picked a lot more berries.

Today it was on into Tok for fuel and get caught up on email and internet stuff.  Tomorrow we are back on the Alaskan Highway heading towards Canada.
